BOYLE – The emergency department at the Boyle Healthcare Centre (BHCC) has re-opened today, May 9, at 1:30 p.m.
The BHCC was temporarily evacuated and closed due to the threat of local wildfires on May 6.
The ED continues to be closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 9 a.m. EMS remains available to the community and will transport patients to nearby facilities as needed.
All other services available at BHCC have also resumed regular operations.
Patient safety and care remain our top priorities, and we are working hard to ensure the community has urgent care available.
Mental health support will be available at BHCC between the hours of 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. over the coming weekend. Those seeking mental health support can also call 1-888-594-0211 (Access Addiction and Mental Health Central Intake).
We are extremely grateful for our frontline teams, staff and physicians who have come together to support the response across AHS.
