WAINRIGHT — Due to construction work for the Quota Family Healing Oasis, the 6 Ave. main entrance to Wainwright Health Centre will have limited access from May 20 through 23, with a closure at one end of the roundabout and a temporary closure of accessible parking by the main entrance.
The main entrance will remain open to foot traffic by visitors, including visitors to long-term care, and the end of the roundabout closest to the main entrance will be open to vehicles.
The 7 Ave. emergency department entrance will remain open during this time.
The Quota Family Healing Oasis is a project of the Wainwright Quota Club, which works to enhance quality of life in the community. The garden, when complete, will provide a comfortable and safe green space for families and friends of patients to gather when loved ones are admitted to acute care.
