Managing Director Appointed to Emergency Health Services Provincial Health Corporation

EDMONTON – Effective November 18, Les Fisher has been appointed the permanent Managing Director of the Emergency Health Services Provincial Health Corporation (EHS PHC).

In this role, Les will lead the province in delivering efficient emergency health services for Albertans when and where they need them.

Les Fisher brings significant leadership experience from his previous roles as the Program Director, EMS Strategy, Planning, and Reporting, and Director of EMS Operations in Calgary, Alberta. He has also worked previously as a Director for the Shock Trauma Air Rescue Society (STARS) and as the Chief Operating Officer of BC Ambulance Service (BCAS).
