Parents invited to AHS talk on family health care options

February 7, 2014

EDMONTON – Local parents are invited to a forum later this month to learn about the best options for their families’ health care needs.

Your Child’s Health: Getting the Health Care That’s Right for Your Kids will provide parents the opportunity to hear from and ask questions of an emergency department doctor, a public health doctor and a representative from Health Link Alberta, the province’s 24-hour telephone health information and health advice service.

Participants will learn the best options for their needs and discover the broad range of health care services available within their community.

The free ‘Apple Talks’ forum – hosted by Alberta Health Services, Apple magazine and Jasper Place Child and Family Resource Centre – will be held Feb. 20 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Jasper Place Child and Family Resource Centre, 16811-88 Ave., Edmonton. Refreshments will be served and child care provided.

Please register by Feb. 14 by calling 780-489-2243 or email adine@jasperplace-cfrc.com.
