CALGARY – Alberta Health Services (AHS) and Carewest will return some programs and services to the Holy Cross Centre beginning in the next several weeks.
The decision to return to the Holy Cross Centre has been made after collaborative discussions between AHS and the owners of the site, Enterprise Universal Inc.
Significant flood remediation has taken place over the past several months. AHS will complete a thorough inspection of the site, to ensure safety and suitability for patients, residents and staff.
Carewest will soon resume operations at the Rouleau Manor site. The manor is a 77-bed long term care facility that has traditionally been home to residents with complex health issues.
To ensure resident safety and quality of care, admissions will begin in a phased in approach.
Other services to return to the site include cancer care services.
Patients will be informed personally and directly on any location changes for programs or services they are currently accessing.
