CALGARY – Alberta Health Services (AHS) will launch a new, more user-friendly external website Monday, with a new look and feel and a simplified AHS.ca address.
With more than 2.5 million visits per month, the AHS external website is many Albertans’ first point of contact with the health system.
The easier-to-navigate web design will help the public find the health information they need faster than ever. One in three Albertans access the AHS website from their mobile device, and the new site’s responsive design will now adjust to a device’s screen size.
The site’s new layout also places the most important and popular content first, which means users can find the information they are looking for with less clicking.
The new AHS.ca website was completely designed and developed in-house with feedback from patients and families, Health Advisory Councils, and staff and physicians.
The AHS website will continue to be accessible using the old albertahealthservices.ca address.
