Parents of eligible children encouraged to book an appointment

LAC LA BICHE – Alberta Health Services (AHS) is offering catch-up immunization clinics for children in the Lac La Biche area who are behind on their routine immunizations.

These clinics are for parents who received a letter from AHS last month advising them that their four- to eight-year-old children are behind on immunizations. The catch-up clinics will be held at Lac La Biche Community Health Services, 9503 Beaverhill Rd., on these dates:

  • Saturday, Feb. 20
    8:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
  • Friday, March 11
    1 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

These clinics are by appointment only. No drop-ins will be accepted. Parents with eligible children are asked to call 780-623-4471 to book into the above clinic times.

Please note: only those parents who received an immunization status letter from AHS last month are eligible to book their children into the above noted catch-up clinic times.

Parents who are uncertain whether their child is eligible can call 780-623-4471 to confirm. If a child is not eligible for the catch-up clinics, parents are still encouraged to call 780-623-4471 to book ahead for the child’s upcoming immunizations.
