Connect with health educators at Three Hills Community Discovery Night

THREE HILLS – Local and area residents have an opportunity to learn more about health and wellness when Alberta Health Services (AHS) visits Three Hills Community Discovery Night on September 7 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Three Hills Curling Rink ─ 200 3 Ave N.

AHS staff will be at Three Hills Community Discovery Night providing information and resources to help residents and their families stay healthy.

Attendees will have an opportunity to:

  • Talk face-to-face with AHS health promotion staff about making positive wellness choices.
  • Meet with a Registered Nurse from the Home Care team to learn more about senior’s health, the different services available in Home Care and how to access them.
  • Learn more about dangers of tobacco and tobacco-like products, as well tobacco reduction services and resources that are available.
  • Speak with a local Registered Dietitian about nutrition and healthy food choices for the whole family.
  • Talk with a Speech Language Pathologist and an Occupational Therapist about your child’s developmental skills, and what support services are available.
  • Speak with a local Public Health Nurse to learn more about immunizations, and what is recommended in child/adulthood or when travelling out of country.
  • Find out about available AHS volunteer opportunities and programs in the community.
