Electrical upgrades at QEII Hospital temporarily affect outpatient laboratory hours

GRANDE PRAIRIE – The Queen Elizabeth II (QEII) Regional Hospital’s outpatient laboratory will be closed Saturday, Sept. 30, and Saturday, Oct. 7, due to electrical upgrades at the hospital.

The laboratory will be open during regular Sunday hours — 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. — on
Oct. 1 and 8.

Regular weekday hours — Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. — also remain in effect.

The public cafeteria will also be closed Sept. 30 and Oct. 7.

The electrical upgrades are an important part of the facility maintenance and keep our hospital running well. Alberta Health Services apologizes for the inconvenience and appreciates your understanding during this time.
