Evening clinics adjusted to provide more staffing during busiest times

GRANDE PRAIRIE – There will be more opportunities to book weekday morning and afternoon appointments at Grande Prairie Public Health Clinic, starting Nov. 5.

The clinic is adjusting its hours of operation to provide 12 more patient appointment times Monday through Thursday. Statistics show patients prefer morning appointments and the clinic has high no-show rates for evening appointments. As a result, evening public health clinics will now be offered on Thursdays only.

Effective Nov. 5, the Grande Prairie Public Health Clinic hours will be as follows:

Monday - Wednesday 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Thursday 8:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Friday 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Saturday 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Sunday Closed
