Health services temporarily relocated during construction

February 1, 2019

LAC LA BICHE – Community health services at the Lac La Biche Provincial Building will be temporarily relocated when upgrades to the building’s ceiling start Friday (Feb. 1).

From Feb. 1 to 28, community health services – normally located on the main floor – will be offered in the addictions and mental health and dental offices in the basement of the Provincial Building, 9503 Beaverhill Rd. Clinic hours will remain the same: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Call 780-623-4471 to make an appointment. Drop-ins are also welcome.

Other Alberta Health Services programs based out of the Provincial Building include population and public health, community care, allied health and environmental public health.

The ceiling work is necessary to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff. AHS is working closely with building management and stakeholders to ensure there is minimal impact to patient care and staff.

Alberta Health Services is the provincial health authority responsible for planning and delivering health supports and services for more than four million adults and children living in Alberta. Its mission is to provide a patient-focused, quality health system that is accessible and sustainable for all Albertans.
