WESTLOCK — The Westlock Healthcare Centre will temporarily suspend operating room (OR) services from 5 p.m. August 20, 2021 to 7 a.m. August 23, 2021, due to a staff shortage.

Full surgical services are expected to resume Aug. 23.

The health centre’s emergency department will remain open. Patients requiring surgery during this time will be assessed on-site and transferred by EMS to another site for their surgery.
