EDMONTON – The Fort Saskatchewan Community Hospital’s (FSCH) Women’s Health Program has reopened obstetrical services and resumed deliveries.
Women’s health services consolidated obstetrical services at the Sturgeon Community Hospital in St. Albert on August 6, 2022, due to the absence of regular and on call obstetrician coverage at FSCH.
AHS thanks the community of Fort Saskatchewan for their patience during this temporary obstetrical closure. We are also grateful for the support provided by the staff and physicians at Sturgeon Community Hospital through this period.
