Children’s Health Alberta (CHA) is a provincial program within Acute Care Alberta (ACA) that leads and supports pediatric health services across Alberta. We work with health care partners across hospital and community settings to improve health outcomes for children and youth.

We oversee pediatric care pathways, partner with health service providers, and lead innovation and quality improvement initiatives. We develop evidence-based policies and standards, monitor system performance, and support projects that strengthen coordination and long-term planning.
Through this work, we help ensure children and youth across Alberta receive safe, high-quality and consistent care guided by best practices.
