INNISFAIL - Children under five and their immediate family or household members can get immunized against influenza at the Innisfail Health Centre, 5023 42 St. on Jan. 28, Feb. 25 and March 25.
Appointments can be made from 9 a.m. to noon through Alberta’s Vaccine Booking System. Walk-ins may also be accommodated, depending on appointment volumes.
Getting immunized is the single most effective means of arming yourself, your children and your loved ones, against influenza. We encourage all Albertans to get immunized against influenza and to encourage seniors and at-risk Albertans in your lives to get immunized too.
By keeping the number of influenza cases and outbreaks low, we can help protect at-risk Albertans and reduce the pressure on our healthcare system as we continue to respond to COVID-19.
We also encourage Albertans to follow all current provincial public health measures to stop the spread of COVID-19 and protect the healthcare system.
These measures help prevent the spread of respiratory illnesses too, and include: staying home when sick; wearing a mask indoors; practicing physical distance; practicing hand hygiene; and practicing good respiratory etiquette. For more on COVID-19, visit ahs.ca/covid.
