Want to visit your child at Alberta Children’s Hospital?
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, Alberta Children’s Hospital is taking additional steps to ensure that those most at risk of contracting the virus are protected.
To ensure the safety and wellbeing of our patients and staff, please note we permit only one visitor at a time (unless the room is large enough for physical distancing to be maintained for two visitors). Other children including siblings or family members under the age of 18 are not allowed to visit at any time in the Emergency Department (a child age 14 years and older can visit an admitted patient in addition to one designated family/support person). Our hospital currently has screeners at the entrance to greet each visitor, conduct health screening and verify each individual is authorized to visit.
Thank you for helping keep our patients and healthcare staff healthy.
