Finding Us

We are located in Oilers Ambulatory Clinic, located on the second floor on the north side of the Stollery Children’s Hospital. From the 112th street entrance walk straight towards the elevators and go to the second floor.

The clinic is located in 2E within the Edmonton Oilers blue and orange painted entrance.

What to Expect

The KIDCLOT team is multidisciplinary team that includes physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses and social workers.

If your child has been referred to the KIDCLOT Thrombosis & Anticoagulation Program, it is helpful if you come prepared with a family history of any clotting disorders. Your child’s medical history will be reviewed and may require a physical exam, blood work or other diagnostic imaging. The physician or nurse practitioner will answer any questions you may have during your appointment.

If your child is using a home INR meter please be sure to bring it with you to your KIDCLOT clinic appointment.

Routine follow up appointments must be attended annually for children on anticoagulant therapy.

The Stollery Children’s Hospital is a teaching hospital. Be aware that we often have learners in our clinic so you may also see medical residents and health care students as members of your child’s care team.
