COVID-19 immunization services relocated to health centre

June 1, 2022

COLD LAKE — Alberta Health Services (AHS) has closed operations at the COVID-19 assessment centre, located at the Cold Lake Agriplex, as demand for COVID-19 assessment continues to decrease.

COVID-19 immunization has been relocated to Cold Lake Community Health Services (4720 55 St.). COVID-19 vaccination will continue to be available seven days a week at this site in Cold Lake.

With the change in location, AHS encourages clients to be mindful of the instructions provided when booking online.

PCR testing for Albertans is available only for those who have clinical risk factors for severe outcomes, and those who live and work in high-risk settings.

Individuals who qualify for COVID-19 testing are encouraged to seek testing at Shandro Contracting (#5, 5402 55 Ave.) in Bonnyville, or complete a self-administered rapid test. Free rapid antigen testing kits remain available through pharmacies for at-home use.

If you have any of the core symptoms of COVID-19, you are legally required to isolate. For more information on COVID-19 assessments and testing, please visit COVID-19 Assessment & Testing | Alberta Health Services, or contact Health Link at 811.
