The Bone and Joint Clinic consists of the General Orthopaedic Clinic, Hip and Knee Clinic, Hand Clinic, and Cast Clinic.
Remember to bring your Alberta Healthcare card and a piece of photo ID. If you don't your appointment may need to be rescheduled.

Located on the 4th floor. Take the Outpatient elevators near the information desk. Once you reach the 4th floor, there are signs telling you how to get to the clinic.
The Information Desk on the main floor has wayfinders, people in red shirts who can help you find your way. There are also electronic kiosks throughout the hospital that give directions.
Check in at the front desk when you arrive.
You may be in the clinic for several hours so please come prepared.
When you see the surgeon, you will review your medical history and talk about the reason for your visit. After the surgeon has examined you, they will talk about the best treatment choices for you.
The plan may involve surgical or non-surgical procedures or referral to another healthcare provider. Clinic staff can help you in making appointments for physiotherapy or for other tests or consults as needed.
If you need to have surgery, you will be asked to sign a consent form and be given information to read about your procedure or surgery.
After surgery, you may come back to Hand Clinic for your follow-up appointments.
