This virtual tour will provide details about the clinic’s location and outline what is required upon arrival.
Remember to bring your Alberta Healthcare card and a piece of photo ID. If you don't your appointment may need to be rescheduled.
Make sure to bring all the medicine you take in their original containers.
View the park map for parking office information, public parking rates, parking payment options, vehicle and height restrictions, and accessible parking locations.
Located on the second floor, take the outpatient elevators or staircase near the information desk. As you exit the elevator, go towards the lab, turn right, and the clinic desk is ahead on the left.
The information desk on the main floor has wayfinders; people in red shirts who can help you find your way. There are also electronic kiosks throughout the hospital that give directions.
Once your surgery date is booked, you will receive a phone call from a pre-admission clinic nurse.
The nurse will go over your health history, the medicine you take, and tell you how to get ready for surgery. You may be sent some information on your surgery to read.
The nurse will also decide if you need to see an internal medicine or anaesthesia doctor before your surgery. You will be contacted if you do.
