Therapeutic Support Services

The Stollery Children’s Hospital offers a wide range of therapeutic and support services for patients and families.

Therapeutic services is led by a group of health professionals who utilize best evidence and innovative practice to assess, diagnose, treat and educate individuals with a variety of illnesses, injuries or disabilities in both acute and ambulatory care settings.

The multidisciplinary team is comprised of audiologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech language pathologists, therapist assistants, polysomnographers, nurse practitioners, genetic counselors, nurses and physicians.

This team works collaboratively with children, their families, caregivers and other service providers within and external to the Stollery Children’s Hospital to deliver direct patient care, rehabilitation treatment, diagnostics and health improvement interventions to restore, maintain and optimize client function and outcomes.
