Provides teaching and information to pediatric patients with Down syndrome, their families, or healthcare providers about resources and recommended health surveillance according to the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) guidelines. We also do consultative and / or primary care for children 0 - 18 with Down syndrome.

Remember to bring your child’s Alberta Healthcare card and a piece of photo ID.
The clinic is located in the Aberhart Centre.
A small number of parking stalls are located outside the south doors of the Aberhart, or alternatively, parking can be accessed in the Kaye Edmonton Clinic parkade.
For public transit, the closest LRT station is the Health Sciences Jubilee Station.
The Aberhart (yellow brick building) is located across the street from the University of Alberta Hospital, just south of the Kaye Edmonton Clinic. Use the south facing main doors, the clinic is located on the first floor of the Aberhart Building. You will see a sign that says Pediatric Clinic, proceed to the check-in desk.
Your first appointment may last up to one hour so please come prepared. During this time, we will obtain a comprehensive medical history and get to know you and your child. It is helpful if you bring any medications your child is taking with you to the clinic visit.
We will determine what services and or resources may apply to you and your family and answer any questions or concerns you may have.
We may determine referrals to other specialists are required and if so, those referrals will be arranged.
The Stollery Children’s Hospital is a teaching hospital. Be aware that we often have learners in our clinic so you may also see medical residents and health care students as members of your child’s care team.
