Newly Diagnosed with Cancer

Being diagnosed with cancer is life-changing, but you are not alone.

Find information on what to expect, how to prepare and get support, resources you can use and things you can do as you move forward in the Newly Diagnosed with Cancer book. We are here for you.

The Sources of Help booklet is a resource for you and your family. It offers many sources of support and information from several different organizations: Alberta Health Services, the provincial and federal governments, and other community and business organizations. While this is not a complete list of all options, it may help get you started.

The Alberta 211 service is another option to connect with community and social services. Visit Alberta 211.
