Cancer Centre Information

Cancer Care Alberta provides care at 17 cancer centres across the province. Centres are grouped into 3 different levels:

  • Tertiary Centres are large cancer centres that offer a full range of specialist services.
  • Regional Centres are medium-sized cancer centres that offer many, but not all, specialist services. These centres provide systemic treatments and some also provide radiation treatments.
  • Community Centres are smaller cancer centres located in local hospitals. They offer some systemic treatment and symptom management services.
