Network Access & Email

Your manager will give you your network username and temporary password to access all the AHS systems, including your AHS email, Insite (AHS Intranet), e-People (Employee Self Service) and MyLearningLink.

FRAUD WARNING: Please be aware that Alberta Health Services (AHS) never requests logging, password or any personal information. These are not legitimate AHS emails and are fraudulent. If you receive an email that involves providing logging and password or personal information, it is a scam and you are asked to contact securityincident@ahs.ca.

Email Access

To protect and secure your work information, AHS uses a multi-factor authentication (MFA) to access your AHS email remotely with Microsoft Outlook Web Access.

When you log into your email from outside of an AHS site using a personal device, you will enter your username and password and will use a second method of authentication as well. Follow the step-by-step guide to set up your MFA and visit the FAQs for more information.
