What You Need To Do

AHS & Recovery Alberta

  1. You are required to complete our AHS Orientation if it is listed in your offer letter.
  2. Submit your certificate of completion to your manager.

APL

  1. Read an overview of APL and watch this welcome video.

Unionized employees only. Visit your union website to access member orientation.

AHS Orientation

This required online orientation module will take approximately one-hour to complete and will introduce you to AHS and how we support the health, safety and well-being of our people and our patients.

You will receive three (3) hours of pay for completing the course. This course must be completed before your first day of work and can be completed at home. If you do not begin your employment with AHS after completing this orientation, you will not be eligible for compensation.

Unionized employees only. You must complete this orientation between the hours of 7 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday to Friday. If you complete your orientation outside of these times; no additional compensation will be provided.

Certificate of Completion

Submit your Certificate of Completion to your hiring manager as proof of completion to receive payment.
